Three Bucks County teenagers who were walking along train tracks in a remote industrial area in Falls Township were struck and killed yesterday by a high-speed Amtrak train traveling at 100 m.p.h., authorities said.

The male victims, ages 14, 15 and 19, were hit from behind about 3:45 p.m. by a Washington-bound Acela train, police said. They were thrown as far as 150 yards by the impact, which also dented the front of the train.

Two other youths who were with them escaped uninjured and alerted police.

Authorities identified the victims as Raymond Jesse Kostar, 13; Eric Hopwood, 15; and Dan Slater, 19. They are all from Morrisville. The names of the survivors have not been released.
