2000 Harvest Report

Being the wettest growing season in a very long time, the garden produced a very high quality harvest of Kimberton Pole Beans, Kimberton Red Cyan Pepper, Kimberton Red Tomato, although the yield on the tomatoes was down.  Yellow Wax Pepper and Red Cherry Pepper did not go into full bloom till mid October, and subsequently, the frost cut short the yield.  Wild Cucumber seedlings did not mature, but one Wild Cucumber did survived and produced a good gathering.  Sunflowers planted with the pole beans did produce seeds that were left for the birds.  Kimberton Yellow Bush Beans did well, but not near as prolific as the aggressive Kimberton Pole Beans.
