No tickets at the Pocopson Station to ride on the Brandywine Railroad.

Located in Pocopson Township, Chester County Pennsylvania, at the crossroads of Pennsylvania Route 100 and Street Road (Pennsylvania Route 926,is the Brandywine Valley Rail Road Station, photographed on Easter Sunday, April 15, 2001.

Reading Lines Engine 902, shines of the glory days of the Reading Railroad.

Fresh paint glistens in the overcast gray skies of Easter Sunday Afternoon of April 15, 2001. Reading Lines Locomotive 902 even though sitting cold on the siding, portrays an image of speed and grace.

Old work horse left to die, Octoraro Engine 55, rusting away.

Just north up the line from Pocopson, Octoraro Engine 55 sits along side the Lenape Forge at the Crossroads of Lenape Road and Pennsylvania Route 100. Easter 2001

Engine 402 once thundered down the main line, left for dead on the Lenape Siding.

Engine 402 whose coat of faded green covers over Conrail 2887, sits ahead of Octoraro Engine 55, Easter 2001.


Stop, look, and listen for trains before crossing.
